MILWAUKEE - Update: Phil was able to watch the game with his sister!

A local man is a testament to how dedicated Packer fans are.

He had a kidney transplant this week... On one condition. His goal is to get out of this hospital room in time for the Packers-Bears kickoff on Sunday.

Phil Cosson was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2009.

On Tuesday January 18, he received a kidney from his older sister Denise.

But little did either of these Packer backers know...The surgery was scheduled five days before the biggest game of the year!

Phil explains, "Some people marry for love, some for money, I married for Packer tickets."

Marrying into season tickets, Phil is a diehard fan and insists he get out of the hospital before kickoff.

Denise is hoping for the same, as she's already been discharged.

"It'll be a fun game to watch. I hope he's home with us. Hopefully he can come home," she says.

Phil's doctor is optimistic, and this brother-sister pair is optimistic about the game outcome.

"If Rodgers plays well I think they have a great chance," Phil muses.

Denise adds, "Hopefully they'll win. There will be a loy of really unhappy people in Wisconsin if they don't win."
