GREENFIELD - If Packers fans wanted Super Bowl and NFC Championship gear, they had to wait no longer than right after the game to snap it up at some stores in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Many retail outlets chose to open immediately after the final gun, while others had their first gear available early Monday morning.
Vinny was the first person in line at the Sports Authority in Greenfield, hoping to get gear when the store opened at 6:00 a.m.
Others behind him were yelling "Yeah! Go Packers Go! The champions again! The Bears have been defeated!" reflecting the enthusiasm.
Others stopped on their way to work.
"I called in to say 'I'm running a little late to work this morning, so I'll be making up the time," said another person.
T-shirt and hat makers in Franklin and Appleton were producing Super Bowl and NFC Champions items throughout the night, so retailers could pick them up immediately.
And the cost of it all? Nobody seemd to care, because they say you can't put a price on a Packers win like this one.
Many stores said they would be restocking their gear.
