GREEN BAY - Often, when the Packers are on the road, fans find themselves flocking to Lambeau Field to enjoy the game in Curly's Pub and buy Packers gear at the Packers Pro Shop.

Not this Sunday, on the day of one of the most anticipated games in modern team history.

The Packers said in a statement that they have decided to close Lambeau Field on Sunday to allow team employees to enjoy the game with their families.

Road teams in important games will often open their stadiuim or arena and even have a fan gathering inside the stadium to watch the game.
