MILWAUKEE - The Tom Barrett campaign has conceded the governor's race to Republican Scott Walker.

"About 5 minutes ago, I called Scott Walker and congratulated him on becoming the next governor of the State of Wisconsin," said Barrett in a concession speech.

"The voters have spoken, and I respect the voters of the state of Wisconsin and I honor their decision. But I want everyone to know I have never stopped believing in the state of Wisconsin, and I never will stop believing in the state of Wisconsin. And that is what our collective challenge is tonight."
