MILWAUKEE-- Waukesha newlyweds Nikole and Dereck Pannemann got married on Saturday August 28th at Milwaukee Marriott West in Waukesha.  They hired photographer Olga Thomas of Chic Wedding Photography to take their wedding pictures.

On Sunday evening Thomas went to a friend's home near 2nd and Vine in Brewer's Hill.  Thomas went inside for a minute, but when she came back out, her car was gone.  Thieves had taken it, with her camera equipment and the Pannemann's wedding pictures still inside the digital camera, inside.

"It's completely heart wrenching," Nikole said.  "I won't have anything to look back at from my wedding."

Olga lost thousands of dollars in camera equipment, but considers the wedding pictures priceless.  Now they are working together to try and find the suspects who stole the car, which police found abandoned and empty near 26th and Brown on Milwaukee's near north side.  They plastered the area with posters, offering a $2,000 reward for anyone who gives back the camera with the pictures still inside.  They promise no cops and no questions.  They just want the pictures back.

"I am trying to stay optimistic and keep my hopes high," Olga said.
