2 teens accused of crime spree in central Wis.
MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- Two central Wisconsin teens face dozens of charges in connection with a two-month string of burglaries and vandalism in Marathon, Taylor and Wood counties.
A News-Herald Media report (http://mnhne.ws/1cPSsbQ ) says the suspects are Sawyer Wirkus and Nicholas A. Nesbitt, both 18-year-olds from Mosinee.
The list of charges against them has been growing as detectives in all three counties conducted investigations.
Prosecutors say the teens went on a crime spree that lasted about two months in which they allegedly stole vehicles, alcohol and weapons. Authorities say they've linked the two to at least 10 burglaries.
Messages left with their attorneys Monday were not immediately returned.
