WEST ALLIS - Construction crews are rushing to wrap up work before the Wisconsin State Fair.

Work in front of State Fair Park has been underway for months.
It's all a part of the Zoo Interchange project.
Kathleen O'Leary with the Wisconsin State Fair said the on-ramps and the frontage road in front of the park opened over the weekend.
"There's some curbing and some other things that they have to do, aesthetically, it's not as pleasing as we would like, but it's more about functionality."  O'Leary said.
All roads around State Fair Park are now open, with the exception of the bridge at 76th and I-94.
State Fair will officially open on Thursday.
