You Be The Reporter!

Do you see news happening?  Help Newsradio 620 WTMJ cover breaking news!  When you see news happening, take digital pictures and/or video with your cell phone or camera.  Email us the file(s).

The address is easy to remember:
tips@620wtmj.com

We may use your pictures or video on the web, and perhaps we'll even use audio from any video you shoot on the air.  We'll give you credit for anything we use.

What are we looking for?
Anything.  We may not use everything, but we'll gladly accept your submission.  We like pictures of severe weather.  If you see a fire or a car crash, we'll take that.  But news can take many forms and if you see something that you think may be newsworthy, send it to us.  Even if it's just a written newstip, we'll take it and check it out.

It is, however, very important that you DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN HARMS WAY in order to take pictures or video.

Why do we need your help?
Much as we'd like to be, we aren't everywhere all the time.  Often when we hear about breaking news, it takes us time to get there.  Sometime by the time we would get to a scene everything is over.  You may be there when it happens and can be an eyewitness.

Will you use my name?
If you want us to, absolutely.  We want to give credit where credit is due.  Please include your name in anything you submit.

What if I don't want my name on your website or on the air?
Just tell us not to use your name and we won't.
