Biden to visit UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside on Friday
OSHKOSH- Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Oshkosh and Kenosha Friday as part of an effort to win more college votes.
Biden is expected to address supporters at UW-Oshkosh in the 10 a.m. hour, then travel to UW-Parkside in Kenosha for a speech later in the afternoon.
Doors were to open for the UW-Parkside event at 11:30 a.m. Organizers have already given out tickets for the event.
Biden's appearance comes 11 days before Election Day.
The visit to UW-Oshkosh comes on the heels of an Oshkosh plant announcing they will layoff around 450 employees.
For Biden, this is his 5th visit to Wisconsin during the presidential race.
President Obama announced Thursday he is visiting the Badger State on Tuesday.
Recent polls show a tight race in Wisconsin between Mr. Obama and Mitt Romney.
Word came in Friday morning that Mr. Romney was to have a rally at State Fair Park on Monday night.
Republicans were planning to drive a mobile billboard around UW-Parkside that says "We can't afford four more years."
