2009 Follow the Packers Official Contest Rules

Newsradio 620 WTMJ and West Bend-The Silver Lining team up to send you to each week's Green Bay Packers game. Home or away, you'll experience all the action of the game! Listen to John Jagler and Gene Mueller every weekdday morning at 7:15 a.m. for the Packers player name-of-the-day. Then on Friday, be the correct numbered caller with that week's four Packers player names and you'll be on your way to see the Packers play. 1.  Participants must be 18 years of age or older. No purchase necessary.

2.  Employees and their immediate families of Journal Broadcast Group, any subsidiary of Journal Communications, Inc., and their families, West Bend-The Silver Lining or the Green Bay Packers are not eligible to win.

3.  For a chance to win, listen to  Wisconsin's Morning News on Newsradio 620 WTMJ every weekday morning around 7:15 a.m. from September 7, 2009- January 1, 2009 for the Packers player name-of-the-day. Record all four Packers names (Monday-Thursday). Then on Friday, be the correct numbered caller with all four names and you'll win that week's prize. The only way to obtain the Packers player name-of-the-day is to listen to Newsradio 620 WTMJ around 7:15 a.m. for the run of the contest. WTMJ will not give out player names in any other manner. For Thursday Packers games and the bye week, WTMJ reserves the right to alter the contest play.

4.  Winner will receive a prize package for two to a designated Packers game. In all cases, the package includes two tickets to the game, tailgate party passes, and hotel accomodations. In the case of several away games, the package may also include transportation.

5.  All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prize/merchandise/cash. Winner is responsible for any taxes and additional costs not described as prize. As required by the IRS, if the prize value exceeds $599, the winner will receive a 1099 tax form at the end of the year. The IRS does require the winner to report and file the 1099 with their tax return.

6.  Contest begins September 7, 2009, and runs through the regular football season. If the Packers proceed to the playoffs, the contest may or may not continue as long as the Packers are in the Playoffs. This decision will be made by WTMJ and announced during WMN. One winner per household for the run of the contest.

7. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of callers. Neither WTMJ  nor any affiliate of Journal Communications, Inc. shall be responsible for misdirected calls or technical issues.

8.  Social security number is required for acceptance of prize.

9.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the sponsor, radio station, and its agencies to use the winner's name and/or likeness for the purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation.

10.  The decision of the judges is final.

11.  WTMJ reserves the right to end this promotion or vary prizes at any time without prior notice.

12.  Any potential grand prize winner must be willing and available to pick up the prize that day at the WTMJ studios and sign an affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance form and liability/travel release on the Friday that the prize is won and before the travel takes place. Non-compliance with this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.

13.  For the names of winners of prizes valued at $25 or more, available after January 10th, 2009, send your request with a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to: Follow the Packers/620 WTMJ, 720 E. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI, 53212.
