Newsradio 620 WTMJ is sponsoring the sweepstakes for short code 79008. By entering this contest you will be registered to win an autographed baseball from Ryan Braun.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, anywhere outside of the U.S. and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees of Journal Broadcast Group and their family members, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their advertising, sweepstakes and production agencies, or wireless carriers/ participating wireless providers are not eligible to enter.
 

To Enter: You may enter the sweepstakes in either of two ways: By text messaging from your mobile phone or by mail. To enter by text messaging from your mobile phone text message G8 to 79008 Keywords may vary depending upon the station’s promotions calendar. Text messaging method of entry requires 2-way text messaging capable phone and digital service. You will be charged for the message that originated from your phone according to the terms in your calling plan with your carrier. Text messaging is not available in all areas in the U.S.

No Purchase necessary to enter by mail. Simply hand print your name and address (including zip code), home and cell phone number (including area codes), email address and date of birth on a postcard and mail it to 620 WTMJ, Buick, Pontiac GMC Contest 720 E. Capitol Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53212. You may enter as often as you wish, regardless of method of entry, but each mail entry must be hand printed and mailed in a separate, hand addresses envelope. In case of dispute as to the identity of a text message entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the mobile telephone number. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned a mobile telephone number by the wireless carrier or as shown on the carrier’s records.

Prize: Autographed baseball from Ryan Braun. The listener shall be given the ability to enter contests for free. Winner must be 18 years or older. Sponsors are not responsible for any fees, costs or additional charges resulting from use of the prizes.

All prizes are non-transferrable and no substitutions allowed except by sponsors, who reserve the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. All expenses not expressly included in these rules, and all federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

Odds of Winning: Prizes awarded weekly. Odds of winning vary depending on number of entrants.

General Conditions: The winner will be required to sign and return a notarised affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release that must be returned within seven (7) days of notification attempt or an alternate prize winner will be selected. Winner by acceptance of the prize agree to release the sponsors their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders , wireless carriers/ participating wireless providers, and their respective advertising, promotional and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with participation in the sweepstakes, receipt, ownership or use or misuse of the prize or parts thereof or while preparing for, participating in and/or travelling to or from any prize related activity, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the sponsors, whose decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes shall be final and entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity in this sweepstakes or these official rules. By accepting this prize, the winner grants to sponsors the right to use the winners name, address and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation to or permission from the winner, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the property of the sponsors and will not be returned or acknowledged. Neither sponsors, nor their parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, nor their promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to: (I) Entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (II) Entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (III) Telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet or computer or communications malfunctions, failures or difficulties. Sponsors in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or in the operation of the website or otherwise violating these rules. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify this sweepstakes if this sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention or technical failures of any sort.

In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these official rules, participants agree that the dispute will be resolved by applying the laws of the residing State and that is shall be resolved within and by the courts of that state. Sweepstakes are void where prohibited.
