I’ve been encouraging our staff to get more involved in blogging, twitter, facebook, etc. so I figured I’d take some of my own advice and grab some web space for myself. I’ll use this blog to discuss things happening at our stations, in the broadcast business, or just observations that might be of interest to you. When possible, I’ll share some “inside” information on what’s going on behind closed doors at Radio City. When I was on the radio in Milwaukee many years ago, I always enjoyed the interaction with my audience.
Back then, I wore blue jeans to work and drove my folk’s 1968 Oldsmobile to the station from our home in Shorewood. Today, I have to dress a little nicer (and now I drive a nicer car!), but I still enjoy interacting with our audience whenever I get the chance. If there’s something you’d like me to address in this corner of our web site, please let me know. I have some ideas for upcoming blog topics, including why I’ve received thousands of e-mails complaining about a TV program that hasn’t even aired yet. I’ll include that item in my next blog. I hope you’ll check back often.
