This is Shelly Froehlich
You just can't make this stuff up.
Check out this story from Bruce Vielmetti at the Milwaukee County Journal.
A deputy at the Ozaukee County Jail took an unusual call at 2:20 a.m. last week.
According to court records, a woman asked if Judge Thomas Wolfgram was in. The deputy explained that, of course, he was not but would be at court in the morning.
"Good," the woman said. "Tell him I have a hit on him," and hung up.
Later that same day, investigators, using a recording of the brief call, were able to track it to Shelly Froelich, mother of inmate Jason Twieg, who had confirmed it was his mother's number and that she's made similar calls when he was jailed in the past.
When deputies arrived at Froelich's West Allis house later on Wednesday, she denied making the 2:20 a.m. call, but her husband said he heard her on the phone about that time, "and that she is always calling the jail and making threats."
