Aren't These Guys Cute?

  • Print

The Milwaukee County Zoo has some exciting news. Check these guys out.

Two baby jaguars were born November 13th at the zoo. It is the first time since 1975 that jaguar cubs have been born at the zoo.

These little guys don't have names yet.  It's the firs little ones for mom, Stella and dad Pat. The birth is significant because Pat is a rescued, wild-born cat and considered a founder to he population.  Pat not only brings new genes to the captive jaguar population, he also serves as a living ambassador to the wild population and to the conservation of the species.
