Just in time for graduation, here are some great suggestions that you won't hear in any commencement address. I especially like "Don't make the world worse", "It's all borrowed time" and, of course, "Marry someone smarter than you"!

As left-wing operatives continue to make absurd claim after absurd claim, you have to wish the mainstream media around here would exercise a little discretion. I mean, not everything the crazy naked guy on the sidewalk shouts is news.

The fact that Wisconsin Department of Corrections employees failed to pick up on the ongoing torture and repeated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Madison is troubling! The fact that these employees will not be held accountable for their negligence is disgraceful.

They say that everybody has their price. For State Senator Tim Carpenter, I think that price was $64,000.

There's really no subtle way to pose this question. Has the rookie Fond du Lac County District Attorney gone completely crazy or just temporarily insane?

Here's the headline that appears on our website: "Marquette poll shows Romney leading Wisconsin; Walker even with Falk, Barrett". The story is by the Associated Press - an organization that can, from time to time, raise political bias to an art form.

I don't know if former State Senator Randy Hopper was intoxicated when he was stopped by authorities last October 16th. I do know though that his trial should be taught in law school as a classic example of how not to prosecute a case.

Let's get this straight once and for all. When it comes to redistricting, political parties try to draw election maps to benefit their respective sides. Just look at what Democrats (who aren't even pretending to be subtle about the issue) did in Illinois this year.

I sincerely hope that the silent majority of Wisconsin residents see what's going on - and are outraged. You know, mad as hell and not willing to take it any more!

It's been more than a month since UW-Parkside was rocked with allegations of hate crimes and death threats against several African-American students. After a couple of days of turmoil, in a development that did not come as a complete surprise to at least some of us, it was revealed that the scare was actually a hoax perpetrated by an African-American student. According to authorities, that student subsequently confessed her involvement.

As I've said before, to call the Wisconsin political system a banana republic would be to insult banana republics. Need more proof, look at the ongoing fiasco that is the Government Accountability Board (aided and abetted by the so-called "justice system" in Dane County).

Last Friday, some friends and family arranged a dinner at my favorite restaurant, The River Lane Inn in Brown Deer, to "celebrate" Jeff Wagner Day. It was a lovely evening marred only by the fact that a close friend of mine was unable to attend because she had been a crime victim earlier in the evening.
