Yet another controversy has erupted at Nicolet High School (the home of the free breakfast for kids who drive a Lexus). Apparently some Seniors decided to change the theme of a Homecoming Week dress up day from "Pajama Day" to "LAX Bros and Preppy Hoes". The Administration was not amused.
A week ago Sunday, 45-year-old Teresa Boone was walking through Kilbourn Reservoir Park in Milwaukee's Riverwest area. Reservoir Park was the site of the highly publicized wilding incident in July of 2011. Ms. Boone would not have been in the park except for the fact that her truck ran out of gas.

It's tough to defeat a sitting President. In fact, it's only happened three times during my lifetime: Ford in 1976 (who wasn't elected in the first place), Carter in 1980 and Bush in 1992. As such, the odds would seem to favor President Obama winning re-election in November.
The first poll released after last Tuesday's Republican Senate Primary shows GOP nominee Tommy Thompson with a commanding lead over uber-liberal Democrat Tammy Baldwin. For many of us who voted for Thompson based on our perception of his electability, these results come as no surprise.
