This afternoon I appeared on "Live at 4:30" on Today's TMJ 4 with my friends Courtny Gerrish and George Mallet to discuss the first day in the trial(s) of former Milwaukee Alderman Michael McGee Jr. During the segment, Courtny and I discussed the reasoning behind the judge's decision to essentially conduct two trials at once and the difficulty of selecting an impartial jury in a case that has generated as much pretrial publicity as this one.
Earlier today, the State prosecution against Michael McGee Jr. blew up big time due to the failure of the prosecution to provide allegedly exculpatory material to the defense team in a timely fashion. I appeared today on "Live at 4:30" on Today's TMJ 4 to discuss the latest developments in the McGee case with George Mallet and Courtny Gerrish.
I just had the opportunity to conduct a wide-ranging, no-holds-barred interview with Jim Warren, the long serving, highly respected former Director of the State of Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation. In our conversation we discuss, among other things, the circumstances surrounding Warren's forced departure from the Department of Justice earlier this year, current morale among the career staff at the DOJ and the demotions yesterday of two high ranking female law enforcement officers by Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen.
