Last Saturday morning, two teams in the St. Louis Park-Rock Football Association finished a very hard fought game. After the game, the players lined up to shake each others' hands. A videotape of the game shows the Head Coach of one team pushing a player from the other team as they pass each other in line.
According to the coach, the player on the other team was moving down the line saying "You suck" to his opponents. When he got to the coach, the player allegedly said "You ---ing suck". At that point, the coach says he pushed the player.
Did I mention that this was a football game involving eleven-year-olds?
In any event, after the player's parents saw the videotape of the incident, they called the police and demanded that assault charges be issued against the coach. Officials with the league are demanding that he resign.
Later today, we'll discuss whether the coach was out of line and, if so, what should happen to him?
