
For the current academic year, Ohio's Monroe High School had adopted a new school dress code. One provision of the code specifies that the bottoms of skirts and shorts may "be no more than 3 inches above the knee".
The official school uniform worn by the varsity cheerleading squad is not in compliance with the dress code. As a result, the cheerleaders have been told that they cannot wear their uniforms to school on game days (as had been the tradition in the past).
Later today, we'll discuss whether school uniforms can be too hot for the classroom but not too hot for the sidelines?
