Thursday night, 15 players were ejected following a 10-minute bench clearing brawl between the Peoria Chiefs and the Dayton Dragons of the Class A Midwest League. You can watch a video of a portion of the brawl by clicking here or here.
At one point early in the melee, Peoria Chief pitcher Julio Castillo grabbed a baseball and apparently attempted to throw it into the Dayton dugout. He missed and instead hit a fan in the stands - who was subsequently taken to the hospital.

Castillo has now been charged with felonious assault of the fan. Later today, we'll discuss whether you think a crime has been committed or whether this was just part of the game?
