Last November, Paula Stark and Len Wawczak claim that the Illinois State Police contacted them and asked them to secretly record conversations that they were having with Drew Peterson. The married couple had been friends with Peterson for the past 16 years. Peterson is being investigated in connection with the murder of his third wife and the disappearance of his fourth wife.
The taping ended last month. It's unclear whether Peterson was recorded saying anything incriminating.
In an interesting twist to an already bizarre story, Peterson's attorney is insisting that the couple is making up their story about taping Peterson.
Later today we'll discuss whether this couple did the right thing if they did in fact actually record conversations with their friend. We'll also discuss what you think you would have done?
