If They Had 6 More People, They Could Play Softball

     How embarrassing.

Yesterday a "peace walk" staged by the Chicago-based Voices For Creative Nonviolence rolled into Racine.  Well, "rolled" isn't exactly the right word.  "Casually meandered" is more like it.

You see, the highly touted "peace walk" had approximately twelve participants.  Not twelve hundred, not twelve thousand - twelve.  In other words, they don't need a wide angle lens when they pose for a group photo.

Today, the group is planning to hold a rally at the office of U.S. Representative Paul Ryan.  At least Ryan staffers won't have to scramble too hard if they want to find chairs for the walkers to sit on.

After the group leaves Racine on Saturday, they are hoping to storm into Oak Creek.  Perhaps by then they'll have increased their number by 50%.  After all, if they can round up another 6 people, they can have a pick-up softball game.
