He Picked The Wrong Place To Rob
Friday night, 41 year old Benjamin Ramirez (pictured above) tried to rob a Denton, Texas pizza parlor.
Originally, Randy Sandoval, the 17 year old clerk, was simply going to give Ramirez the money in the register. However, when Ramirez slapped him, Sandoval got angry and decked Ramirez. Ramirez was out cold for a couple of minutes. He ultimately came to and tried to flee - but was quickly apprehended.
Two things really strike me about this story.
First, four people were murdered ten days ago in Milwaukee. One of the alleged killers has just been apprehended. However, the shooters remained at large for over a week- in part because members of the community who had information about the crime refused to come forward. It seems to me that Milwaukee could learn something from the citizens of Denton, Texas who are willing to take an active role in taking back their streets.
Second, this 17 year old kid is wasting his time working at a pizza parlor. How about having him try out for the Golden Gloves - or at least the WWE?
The entire incident was captured on the restaurant's surveillance camera. You can watch the video by clicking here.
