In the early morning hours of December 27th, 24-year-old Robert Steinbrecker disappeared while out with friends in the area around Cedar Creek in Cedarburg. The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department is asking for area residents to check their property for signs of the man. If anyone has any information about Bob's whereabouts, please call (262) 284-7172.
Bob's dad, Jack, was my debate coach during my senior year in high school and has been a friend ever since. Bob's mom Lindy has been a friend since before she and Jack were married. They are truly wonderful people.
I know that Ozaukee County authorities are doing everything they possibly can to find Bob. We're all praying for a positive outcome.
