Things are going from bad to worse for Tom Barrett.
A poll yesterday showed him trailing Governor Walker by 5 points - just like most other polls released over the last two weeks. A new poll today has the margin at 8 points. Ouch.
Meanwhile, President Obama apparently wants nothing to do with the Barrett campaign. The reluctance of the President to come to Wisconsin - coupled with the reluctance of the Democratic National Committee to make a substantial infusion of cash into the race - tells you everything you need to know.
Specifically, politicos outside of Wisconsin have realized what a lot of us understood a long time ago - Tom Barrett is likely to lose (and perhaps lose big).
Assuming, of course, that GOP voters don't become complacent and decide not to turn out!
