How out of control do you have to be to have your permit to protest in Madison revoked? Well, "Occupy Madison" organizers found out last week.
City officials have "temporarily denied" protesters a new street use permit after complaints over public health violations and public safety issues. The public safety concerns include a hotel near the protests having to "escort hotel employees to and from bus stops late at night due to inappropriate behavior, such as public masturbation, from street protesters"!
I guess not everybody is getting all the "free love" they hoped for.
The "Occupy Madison" organizer acknowledges that the protest "is indeed a work in progress". Yeah. Precisely the sort of "work in progress" that the President of the United States should know enough to stay away from - Not.
