Gun advocate Jesus Gonzalez went on trial yesterday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court. Gonzalez is accused of first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the shooting of two men last year. Gonzalez maintains that he acted in self-defense.
It's not uncommon for a defendants to "clean themselves up" before trial. It is however unusual for media reports to point this out. Yet, this is precisely what today's story in the local newspaper did!
