Again, in case you missed it Sunday, here are the Wisconsin Sports Weekend individual MLB predictions.
A note about our divisional predictions: a reader with a sharp eye noticed we had more wins than losses among all the teams, even though we have each team playing 162 games. It is well known that I will go through the entire NFL schedule and pick the winner of each game. A daunting task but there are only 256 regular season games in the NFL. By comparison there are 2,430 games played during the baseball season. And while much like Cosmo Kramer my whole enterprise is little more than a solitary man with a messy apartment which may or may not have a chicken, I do not have that kind of time. So, to be honest, we didn't go through every game, picking a winner of each contest. It may seem capricious and arbitrary but you get the gist of our predictions. Of course, some projections I've seen have the Brewers playing 167 regular season games.
