Packers-Chiefs: Three keys

  • Print

Vince Young It appears that Aaron Rodgers won't play tonight and that creates an opportunity for Vince Young to get snaps with the first team offense.  Mike McCarthy said earlier this week that the backup quarterback job is still open.  However, a sharp performance by Young tonight should seal a roster spot for him.

Backup playmakers Last week against Seattle there was a lack of big time plays made by the defense.  Specifically the run defense was ripped by the Seahawks backup running backs.  With Knile Davis, Shaun Draughn and Cyrus Gray the Packers second and third teamers will be challenged again.  Will the Pack struggle again?

Last chance The most difficult personnel decisions appear to be at wide receiver, tight end and linebacker.  This is going to be a tough roster to make, so who in that group will give Ted Thompson one last highlight-reel play?
