Once again the road to the Super Bowl goes through Washington

  • Print

From Donald Driver's retirement to cap-cutting moves around the NFL, everyone is looking ahead to the 2013 season.  Looking for a favorite for next season?  Well, last year we found an interesting quirk: every year since 2006 the eventual Super Bowl champion played the Washington Redskins during the regular season.

This, of course, is good news for the Packers, who last played the Redskins in the 2010 Super Bowl season.  it's also good news for the rest of the NFC North, the NFC East, the AFC West, Atlanta and San Francisco.

Of course, with a healthy RG3 there's always the chance that the Redskins win the Super Bowl but that would only happen in the nexus of the universe.
