Packers-Bears: Three keys

  • Print

Three headed backfield Chicago ranks 12th in run defense but they've been ripped apart the last five weeks.  While the Packers don't have a Peterson or a Lynch in the backfield the trio of Alex Green, DuJuan Harris and Ryan Grant can hold their own.  The Packers want to be balanced and that should continue today

Protect the football The Bears have always been good at creating turnovers and they are tied with the Giants in the NFC in fumble takeaways.  So ball security will again be a key here as Chicago continues to thrive on takeaways.

Pressuring Cutler In Week Two the Packers sacked Jay Cutler seven times with Clay Matthews accounting for half of that total.  Matthews is back this week though not at 100%.  But his presence should give a lift to a defense that has one sack the last two weeks.

Prediction Packers 17, Bears 13
