No changes to the top nine this week however a number of potential BCS challengers suffered a fatal second loss this past weekend.  On tap this weekend are a few key matchups including Mississippi State-Alabama, Florida-Georgia and Notre Dame-Oklahoma.

1. Alabama 7-0 (1) Playing at home for thr 1st time since Sept. 29, kicks off key three week stretch

2. Oregon 7-0 (2) Ducks should have their way vs Coloraro, setting up difficult November

3. Kansas State 7-0 (3) Statement win vs West Virginia, must avoid letdown here

4. Florida 7-0 (4) A win over Georgia pretty much guarantees spot in SEC title game

5. Notre Dame 7-0 (5) Irish face toughest test to date in Norman

6. OhIo State 8-0 (6) Unimpressive again, need Braxton Miller this week vs Penn State

7. LSU 7-1 (7) Off this week to prepare for monster showdown vs Bama

8. Oklahoma 5-1 (8) Sonners offense is booming but face #2 ranked defense this week

9. Clemson 6-1 (9) Tigers didn't quite score 40 but still destroyed Va Tech

10. Florida State 7-1 (11) Believe it or not matchup with Duke this week could be ACC title preview

11. Georgia 6-1 (13) Bulldogs face must win to stay alive in SEC/BCS race

12. Louisville 7-0 (14) Luster is off Friday matchup vs Cincy after Bearcat loss

13. Mississippi State 7-0 (15) MSU's game of the year

14. USC 6-1 (16) Matt Barkley is back and so is the Trojan offense

15. Oregon State 6-0 (17) Beavers continue to roll through Pac 12

16. Rutgers 7-0 (20) Impressive win vs Temple, face upstart Kent State this week

17. Texas Tech 6-1 (22) A win over Kansas State puts Big XII in play

18. Ohio 7-0 (19) On the road for the first time since late September

19. South Carolina 6-2 (10) BCS & SEC title hopes dashed by back-to-back losses

20. West Virginia 5-2 (12) Once explosive offense reduces to a whimper

21. Texas 5-2 (25) Held off Baylor to avoid third straight loss

22. Michigan 5-2 (NR) 3-0 in Big 10, now the favorite to win conference

23. Boise State 6-1 (NR) Winners of six straight thanks to rugged defense

24. Wisconsin 6-2 (NR) Badgers are back but need a signature win

25. NC State 5-2 (NR) If Wolfpack run the table they'll head to ACC title game

Dropped out: TCU, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Arizona State
