Packers-Chargers: Three Keys

  • Print

Welcome to the NFL The first at what will be many looks at the rookies and the first glimpse at how far they’ve come since mini camp. For guys like Nick Perry and Jerel Worthy it’s a chance
to evaluate if they’re ready to contribute. Tonight is also the first look at several veterans
who are new or will be in a new role in 2012.  A few others to keep an eye on: MD
Jennings and Jeff Saturday

Execution As always, the score isn't important. What is important is the execution: pre-
snap penalties, communication and the amount of missed/blown assignments. Of course,
the execution won’t be perfect but it is a starting point for what the Packers will need to
clean up before September 9.

Graham Harrell There’s been a lot of chatter about the young backup quarterback and
for good reason. Nobody is really sure if he can play in the NFL. His stats won’t matter.
What will matter is how much poise does he show and can he get the offense into a
rhythm? These questions are elevated by the fact that Packers are already thin at the all-
important left tackle position.

Also, I'll be tweeting thoughts and observations throughout the preseason so be sure to follow along here.
