All-Star voting ends Thursday night and in keeping with a personal tradition, I like to wait as long as possible before filling out my ballot.
A note on my picks: I've got Ryan Braun in by a hair over Carlos Beltran. Clearly the most intrigue is in the crowded NL outfield. I try to pick the guys that put up solid numbers overall, not just in one or two categories. But in light of Braun's scrutiny this year and with the absence of Prince Fielder,. it is amazing that he is having the season he is. Certainly there's an argument for Beltran as well as Colorado's Carlos Gonzalez. Good thing I have another two days, because the numbers seem to change by the hour.
