The 12 Days Of Football: There's No Place Like Home For The Playoffs

  • Print

Packers-Bears takes center stage tonight and here's what's at stake:

A Packers win clinches homefield advantage throughout the postseason and also clinches a playoff birth for Atlanta.

A Bears win keeps Chicago's faint playoff hopes alive for at least one more day.  Chicago needs two wins and two Atlanta losses to qualify for the postseason.

Coming off of the first loss of the season it will be interesting to see how the Packers start tonight.  If they come out inspired and firing on all cylinders then there's no need to panic.  But if they are flat for a second straight week that may be a sign that the Packers are in some trouble heading into the playoffs.

Tune into Packers OT after the game and as always you can follow me on Twitter and Facebook for more on the NFL.
