**-projected postseason team

A few notes here.  Thursday's Houston-Indianapolis game takes on importance for both the top and bottom of the draft order.  The Texans have a shot at AFC homefield advantage while a Colts win would put them in a three-way tie for the overall number one pick.  The tiebreaker is weakest strength-of-schedule and for now that would belong to Indy.

New England has once again fleeced a team to get an additional first round pick.  Since most players in the bottom 10 of the 1st round have roughly the same value, look for the Patriots to trade down and pick up an additional 1st rounder in 2013 in the process.

Cincinnati may do the same and with the Bengals on the rise the 2012 offseason could go along way in the Bengals wresting AFC North power away from PIttsburgh and Baltimore.

Oakland gave up their first round pick for Carson Palmer, Atlanta for Julio Jones and New Orleans for Mark Ingram.  As we're in the stretch run it'll be interesting to see which, if any, of these players impacts the postseason race.  With the benefit of hindsight there will be debate as to whether or not any of the three were worth giving up a first round pick.
