Packers-Browns: Three Keys

  • Print

Everyone on the same page Obviously the biggest key throughout the preseason every year is making sure you don't lose any starters due to injury.  This year the injury concern is joined by the issue of making sure everyone is where they need to be.  In the last two summers the offense looked in midseason form by the second preseason game.  But this year with limited time to get communication down pat, getting everyone in synch may take some time.

Position battles There's no doubt the Packers are loaded but at some positions there's an overload.  Tonight offers the first big test for players looking to nail down a starting spot.

Rookies and free agents With expanded preseason rosters there's even more evaluation that will take place in August.  Last year Frank Zombo made a name for himself early in camp and parlayed that into a starting role.  Who among the rookies and undrafted free agents will impress this year?
