You may recall that we make a big deal out of the first team/player to score a touchdown on the opening Sunday of the NFL season. It's been awhile since we've checked in on Tom Brady and after yesterday's 45-24 win over the Lions New England became the NFL's first nine win team of 2010.
it shouldn't be a surprise that the Patriots are again position to make the postseason but remember last year they were 10-6. With five games remaining the Patriots should surpass the 10 win mark and once again prove that the team that scores first is due for a big season.
Tom Brady 236-356, 66.3 completion %, 2703 yards, 23 TDs, 4 INTs
Wes Welker 65 receptions, 592 yards, 6 TDs
