The WSW College Football Top 25: October 27

  • Print

The week is already underway with Boise State defeating Louisiana Tech 49-20.  It's pretty clear when looking at the BCS standings that the computers want nothing to do with the Broncos.  So the only way Boise State can move up is if a.) they continue to obliterate everyone on their schedule or b.) every major program suffers at least one loss.

That makes this Saturday the most important of the season for Boise State.  Oregon travels to USC and won't face a tough test until a home game against Arizona on November 26.  Michigan State will play at Iowa in what will likely be the last roadblock to an unbeaten season until a road trip to Penn State on November 27.  Missouri is at Nebraska and a win puts them on an easy path to the Big XII Championship game as an unbeaten.
