Week 6 Fantasy Picks

When looking at Miami's backfield who is the better option?  Ricky Williams or Ronnie Brown?  Brown has gotten a few more carries of late and has scored where Williams hasn't.

Injuries and trades have drastically changed a number of lineups so does Brown stack up when compared to BenJarvus Green-Ellis or Joseph Addai?  Despite a neck injury Addai is still a good play, especially considering how unknown New England's offense will look without Randy Moss.

How about Addai vs. Marshawn Lynch or Brandon Jackson?  Lynch is now in Seattle and it make take a week or two to get up to speed.  Jackson needs to prove he can be effective with the ball, assuming he'll get it much at all.

Addai or a pair of AFC West backs in Mike Tolbert or Michael Bush?  With Ryan Mathews healthier and Bush facing a hungry San Francisco team, Addai appears to be the safest bet.

Despite being hurt Austin Collie is still a big part of Indy's offense and is a better option than Donald Driver especially when a go-to receiver really hasn't emerged in Green Bay.

Greg & I split on Roy Williams and Michael CrabtreeTony Romo has put up huge numbers and Williams has benefited while again with sense of urgency in San Fran and a new coordinator Crabtree will get more involved.

Ben Roethlisberger is back but is he ready to be elevated over elite QBs like Aaron Rodgers?  Not so fast, Rodgers was likely a first round pick for a reason and until Roethlisberger puts up elite numbers he should stay on the bench while Rodgers starts.

This is also true when looking at Roethlisberger or Kyle Orton.  Until Orton slows down you should be comfortable starting him weekly.

But what about Matt Ryan?  Ryan isn't quite elite and Roethlisberger might be a better play today over second-tier QBs.

Is this the end for Brett Favre?  He's been questionable before but that elbow problem will likely get worse, for now he has to prove he can put up big numbers again. Even though he has a weak Monday night outing Mark Sanchez has proven to be a viable starter.

Randy Moss should be acclimated with his new surroundings but with the Favre question you might want a safer play this week like Reggie Wayne and Malcom Floyd for scoring leagues.

Who's a better option between LaDanian Tomlinson or Shonn Greene?  Despite a touchdown by Greene last week LT continues to be a slightly better option.

Meanwhile at tight end Dustin Keller has emerged in New York's passing offense and for today should be a better option than Chris Cooley.

Indianapolis has been hit with injuries at WR but with Anthony Gonzalez out again Austin Collie is still the #2 over Pierre Garcon.

Washington wants to run the football but for now Ryan Torain has cooled off and should be benched in favor of bellwethers like Michael Turner and Rashard Mendenhall.
