In my world, the month of February can't get over soon enough. The weather is bad, the sun often hides, and there is a bit of a lull in sports. February is the month of anticipation.

I have no issue explaining that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is one of my least favorite athletes of all-time. His smug, brat-like, my sh*t-don't-stink attitude, combined with sub-par play is just too much for me to digest. To me, Jay Cutler is a gift to every other team playing in the NFC North division.

As the clock struck "00:00" in New Orleans, the Baltimore Ravens danced amid falling confetti inside the Superdome as winners of Super Bowl 47. And just like that, another NFL season has come to an end. Fear not, fans of the pigskin, while you may not be able to watch another live game until August, there are plenty of events on the NFL calendar that will help make the time pass.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time. Armen Keteyian, Sports Correspondent for 60 Minutes, was taping a feature inside the control room of the Superdome at the time the lights went out during Super Bowl 47. The cameras kept rolling as officials were perplexed by the situation.

As Baltimore Ravens kick returner Jacoby Jones raced 109 yards toward the endzone in Super Bowl 47, Ravens fans were overcome with joy as their team built a 28-6 lead. Presumably, at that same time, the owners of Gardiners Furniture store in Baltimore were shaking their heads in disbelief.

Remember in the mid-1990's when the Milwaukee Bucks introduced their alternate jersey? It was a forrest-ish green color with the swooping head of a purple dear on the front. It was completely ridiculous. In fact, when I created the "Worst Uniforms in NBA History" blog back in October, I chose not to include the Bucks, or any teams alternate jersey because the majority are terrible.
