The rosters have been assembled for the World Baseball Classic. Two Milwaukee Brewers, Ryan Braun (LF) and Jonathan Lucroy (C) will play for the United States squad. Twelve other Brewers will suit up for their respective home country.
Pitchers John Axford and Jim Henderson will play for team Canada, as will infielder Taylor Green and outfielder Rene Tosoni.
Yovani Gallardo and Marco Estrada will pitch for team Mexico. Carlos Gomez will play in the outfield for the Dominican Republic. Other players who will suit up for their home country are Martin Maldonado and Hiram Burgos (Puerto Rico), Jeff Bianchi (Italy), Hainley Statia (Netherlands), and Mike Walker (Australia).

Competition in the WBC gets underway in early March. The finals will be played at AT&T Park in San Francisco on March 19.
