If you watched the wild card round matchup between the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks last weekend, the first thing that probably stood out was the condition of the field. It was flat, and probably had grass on it at one point - but that's about all the field had in common with that of a real football field. The game looked like it was being played in kitty litter.
As the Green Bay Packers prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Bay area in the divisional round, they must also be wary of the field conditions at Candlestick Park. From the writer 'Bay Area Sports Guy' comes this photo and description of the field in its current state. It does not look very good. In fact, it resembles that of FedEx Field last weekend.
