No timetable has been set for his return, but Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings underwent successful abdominal surgery on Thursday. It's expected Jennings will need at least three weeks to heal before resuming football activities, but it's not clear when he might return to the lineup.
The procedure was completed in Philadelphia, but delayed two days due to Hurricane Sandy.
Following the surgery, Jennings tweeted, "“the procedure went very well”. He even tweeted a picture from his hospital bed.
