I'm a little out of touch on what would be considered "tall" for a 7th grader, but I'm certain that 6'5" would qualify.
Manute Bol, the former 7'6" NBA cult-hero who passed away in 2010, has a kid (actually, he has 10 kids) who stands 6'5", is in 7th grade, and plays basketball with a silky gangliness.
