British rugby player suffers ruptured testicle, and keeps playing. His name is Paul Wood.
"Those guys are nuts!" A common phrase muttered in reference to rugby players. They run around at high speeds with no padding and reckless abandon. They find American football players to be a bit childish, what with all their padding and what not.
There are those "tough guys" in all sports who choose to play through injury. Perhaps you've been that person in your own right. I must say, however, I think I might call it quits if one of my...ummm...plums exploded. Sadly, British rugby player, Paul Wood (couldn't make that name up) kept right on playing.
