What Packers fans are saying after the loss
The Green Bay Packers fell to 2-3 on the season after a stunning 30-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon. The following is a sample of what Packers fans are saying after the loss. The comments were pulled from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and have not been altered in any way.
The only one of the three injured players I hope is not available next week is Finley. Overrated underachiever. Put down the iPhone, stop your insipid tweeting, and practice catching the ball.
Doesn't matter who is injured next week or if Pack is at full strength. They will get the rear ends handed to them by the Texans. 34-10. Maybe Harrell can get some minutes. The Fat Lady is singing.
Jordy is playing like a wuss again! Why did we not jam Wayne at the line of scrimmage? Come on coach, make adjustments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
...let us not forget that this team lost some really ugly games in 2010 including at home to Miami. Not trying to make any parallels because it's not the same team but there might be some perspective there.
I know this is going to be hard for some of you to understand, but this loss is NOT on Crosby. Your anger should be directed at the coaching staff for not making adjustments and the Offense and Defense for folding like a cheap chair once we were up 21-3.
Boy, the Super Bowl sure seems like a long time ago, doesn't it?
This is clearly not the best team in the NFC North. The playoffs are a reach at this point. The Pack will be 2-4 after a loss next week in Houston. Green Bay has taken several steps backward this season. Very disappointing.
The Packers need an O-line, they need some receivers (for pity's sake, put DD out there more often!), they need some cornerbacks (move Charles Woodsonfrom safety and find someone to play safety), make Clay Matthews play as a team member not an individual. Probably a new fieldgoal kicker, too...
If the Packers were to make the playoffs this was a must win.
This has evolved from a messy start to the season and a team with issues to an ugly start to the season and a team with real problems.
The turning point wasn't a play by Luck. It was a play by Rodgers. WIth us up and just starting out the second half, he forced a through to James Jones that was picked off and shifted the momentum of the entire half and of the game.
Big number not Wayne's yardage, big number is 24:44 in time of possession! This one is on McCarthy - need to run the ball!
The secret to beating the Pack is to have a rookie QB.
You can stick a fork in this team. With a game at Houston next week and their fierce pass rush and offense they will be 2-4.
I am so confused what constitutes pass interference in the NFL...especially offensive pass interference. Shields must be very confused as well.
Congratulations to the Colts. They played inspired football and wanted to win more than the Pack. It's a long season... things can change. Parity is designed into the league.
