NFL's new uniforms not going over well with the big fellas

  • Print

Whenever a NFL team unveils new uniforms, quite often the "models" are a collection of skill players. The lean wide receiver, the chiseled running back, or the pretty boy quarterback. You never see an offensive lineman or nose tackle trot out for the photo op...and with good reason.

Nike has taken over for Reebok as the manufacturer of team uniforms. They are sleek, form fitting, and many have rather strange business-dress-shirt collar-looking marks up near the head hole.  While the skill players are all-in on the new duds, the lineman are finding a bit of discomfort.

The Wall Street Journal takes a deeper dive into the situation.
