As promised. Below is the Packers actual 53-man roster as compared to my picks. I think I'm going to start a show segment called, "Soon to be abysmal predictions." This was a challenging exercise, and I missed at almost every position.
Kudos to myself for accurately predicting the tight ends, fullback, and specialists.
The most glaring area of the roster to me is the offensive line. The starting unit is very solid, but there are only two back-ups, and one is an undrafted rookie free agent. I'm certain General Manager Ted Thompson is on high alert for more assistance, but quality offensive lineman are not easy to come by on the waiver wire.
Nonetheless, below are the final results. A name in red indicates a player who I projected to make the roster, who was cut or placed elsewhere. A name highlighted in yellow indicates a player I had cut, but made the roster or was placed elsewhere.
