The FOX Network has revealed their broadcast teams for the upcoming NFL season. Back again as the number-1 team are Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Pam Oliver. New to the booth this season is former Chicago Bears Head Coach, Mike Martz. Martz will team up with Ron Pitts to form FOX's number-7 team.
Also noteworthy is that former ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews will assist the lead group on Thanksgiving and throughout the playoffs.
The Martz hire is interesting. He's weird enough and smart enough to have a positive impact on the broadcast, but can he convey his thoughts with feeling? I've always found him to be rather bland, arrogant and emotionless during his press conferences. We'll see how he does.
